At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

none of the strats here worked for me, finally found one one wowhead by Ryette that worked.

Zandalari Kneebiter 2-2-x
Alpine Foxling 2-1-2
Zandalari Anklerender 2-x-2

1. Zandalari Kneebiter: whatever + gets swapped out. Alpine Foxling comes in.
2. Alpine Foxling: Dazzling Dance
3. Alpine Foxling: Crouch
4. Alpine Foxling: Flurry + gets swapped out. Zandalari Anklerender comes in.
5. Zandalari Anklerender: Black Claw
6. Zandalari Anklerender: Hunting Party
7. Zandalari Anklerender: Hunting Pary goes on. Zandalari Anklerender dies, Alpine Foxling comes in.
8. Alpine Foxling: Flurry. Shadeflicker dies.

Thank you for this script-I don't know why, but writing scripts kicks my butt so I'm always very grateful to have them. I used PB successfully for both Footslasher and Kneebiter, but I'm going to go get some PPs.

Moriarko

wrote on 2018-05-11 11:19:26

Switched the anklerender for a s/s plains monitor (1-1-1), and the strat worked fine. The reason was that i had a p/p anklerender couldnt match the speed to cast the primal cry.

Just cast screech instead of primal cry and follow the main strat.

kerrsmith

wrote on 2020-10-06 17:08:14

This worked first time for me so certainly worth a try if you have the required Plains Monitor.

Yina

wrote on 2018-04-28 03:00:15

I didn't have the Zandalari breeds required, so tried this : My Arctic Fox (2/1/2) and Zandalari Kneebiter (2/2/x) are both P/S.

Turn 1: First gets swapped, Fox comes in
Turn 2: Crouch
Turn 3: Dazzling Dance
Turn 4: Flurry (your fox gets swapped for Zandalari Kneebiter)
Turn 5: Black Claw
Turn 6+ 7: Hunting Party (Zandalari Kneebiter dies, Bring in Fox)
Turn 8: Flurry (Shadedflicker should bite the dust)

Lepsterium wrote on 2018-05-05 11:42:43

This also works with Bite instead of Flurry (I found out by accident). And a S/S Kneebiter. (First pet I had lined up was a P/P Anklerender).

rockysp

wrote on 2018-02-20 16:40:56

used alpine foxling in the first slot (SS) with dazzling dance and howl, once swapped just swap him back and apply dance and then howl, then continued with black claw and hunting party, worked nice , 2nd zandalari survived with full hp

Archun wrote on 2018-04-27 14:39:25

Thks Worked at first try

Zarria wrote on 2017-11-27 08:05:23

Grove viper is insanely good pet here - 2/1/1
Did it with Cheetah Cub (green S/S), Grove viper (B/B) and Zandalari Anklerender (P/S)

Johny24 wrote on 2018-01-22 19:12:06

Thats nice. And now. Would you like to elaborate?

ncnash0407

wrote on 2018-04-04 01:01:08

I tried this strategy myself with the exact pets listed. Grove Viper 2/1/1, Cheetah Cub 1/2/x, and Zandalari Anklerender 2/2/2. This could have been real good luck, but I got it on the first try. I opened with Screech from the Cheetah Cub, then the Grove Viper was forced in. I used Poison Fang, and tried to time Burrow to block the incoming swap, which I didn't do correctly. The Anklerender was then forced in, I used Primal Cry to try and maintain the faster speed, but that made me have to skip using Black Claw in favor of Hunting Party. I got the debuff applied from Hunting Party, and then the Viper was swapped back in. I used Poison Fang again, followed by a burrow, which blocked the swap and killed Shadeflicker.
This ended up being pretty sloppy, but it got the job done. Perhaps with some thought, it could be better planned out and made more reliable every time.

Zebriel wrote on 2018-04-22 17:51:23

Actually followed this since I didn't have fast raptors and it's quite solid, should be listed up there.

Tarc wrote on 2018-04-22 17:14:14

All S/S

1. Zandalari Kneebiter (2,2,x)
2. Grove Viper (1.x.1)
3. Zandalari Footslasher (2,x,2)

R1: Black Claw, Grover Viper swapped in.
R2: Bite.
R3: Burrow.
R4: Burrow hits, Footslasher swapped in.
R5: Exposed Wounds.
R6: Hunting Party.
R7: Hunting Party continues, Footy dies, Grove Viper in
R8+: Bite, win.

Maaisha wrote on 2017-09-23 15:40:00

I used
Zandalari Toenibbler S/S (341 speed) 222
Giraffe Calf H/B 221
Rose taipan P/S 111
Your last two pets need at least 247 speed, Giraffe needs to have more health than Rose Taipan

Primal Cry
The giraffe goes in
Headbutt (restart if you stun him)
Stampede
Stampede
Rose Taipan goes in
Poison fang
Puncture wound
Finish him with the Toenibbler

You can replace the Rose taipan with any beast that has poison + puncture wound (Fel Spider, Death adder hatchling)
Replacing Giraffe is a bit harder, stampede + hard hitting ability are rare on pets with more than 247 speed. You could use Direhorn Runt

Tonez wrote on 2017-10-02 01:02:18

Thanks, i used Anklereder S/S, Girraffe Calf B/B, and Kovok with the same strat, worked first time

Nalli wrote on 2018-01-28 20:49:08

An S/S Zandalari Toenibbler works as well (Speed is 341), With Primal Cry going off, my P/P Footslasher was able to continue the strat at 276 Speed as well as my S/S Kneebiter at 341 Speed :)

Sephira

Turn 1: Pass
Turn 2: Dazzling Dance
Turn 3: Dazzling Dance
Turn 4: Howl
Turn 5: Black Claw
Turn 6: Hunting Party
Turn X: If Zandalari Anklerender didn't finish off the boss, use headbutt with your pet in slot 1.

Good Strategy! If I outspeed Shadeflicker on the first turn then why not headbutt instead of pass. I didn't have anything fast enough with a headbutt. I used S.S "Cat" with pounce and hit the boss on turn 1. I then I follow your strategy exactly and used "Cat" pounce to finish off the boss. It is very reliable.

Slot 1 can be anything with Screech or Primal Cry and 329+ speed.
Slot 3 can be any breed except P/B unless Slot 2 is P/B also.

Note: All Zandalari breeds are faster than 247 speed, so this isn't needed info. All Zandalari breeds have 1237 health except the P/B with 1302.

Extremely helpful info here, ty!

Didn't have a fast Anklerender, so I replaced it with a Cheetah Cub with Screech. Worked like a charm. Thank you!

this strat did not work for me, 20 tries and no matter what I did the first pet to get swapped in was the kneebiter not the footlasher... even tried swapping the position and still kneebiter was swapped in on the first swap

sounds like a breed/speed issue. check Xna's tip below.

Worked for me the first time trying. The speed of each pet is critical to success, however.

Tsoonami wrote on 2017-09-05 18:40:37

Since the Zandalari Trio strategy has so many speed stipulations, and I was missing some of the required breeds (as I suspect most are), I went with an alternative strategy with more commonly acquired pets that worked using a S/S Plains Monitor from Kun Lai Summit with 341 speed, an H/H Jungle Grub from Karasang Wilds, and my P/P Zandalari Anklerender. Fight went as follows:

Plains Monitor casts Screech. Jungle grub is forced in.
Acidic Goo
Burrow. Zandalari Anklerender is forced in.
Primal Cry.
Black Claw.
Hunting Party. (Crit note: if Shadeflicker crits not enabling you to employ Hunting Party, reset).
Your Jungle Grub is forced back in.
Acidic Goo.
Burrow.

Thank you! I didn't have the right breeds of Zandi's, but your strat worked perfectly.

This worked really well! Thanks so much!

Sylvania wrote on 2017-09-06 09:39:31

I did not have a plains monitor, but any 341 with screech should work fine in first spot.

Zithras wrote on 2017-09-06 15:50:57

Cheetah Cub tends to have a high speed if you're looking for a 329+ screech pet.

Vibah wrote on 2017-09-08 05:41:54

This worked first time, great job

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-12 01:29:42

Worked great, even had leeway to get in an extra Chomp at the end (as Shadeflicker still had 18 health after the last Burrow). I used Cheetah Cub to apply the Screech as I didn't have a fast Plains Monitor.

Perfect as long as you heed the speed notifications.

Elemjay wrote on 2017-09-09 08:55:02

I used a Gundrak Hatchling with Screech/Exposed Wounds instead of the Footslasher.

Tatahe wrote on 2017-09-05 19:28:57

Works with double Footslasher, probably with any Zandalari combination, just respect the HP and Speed requirements and be sure you select the right skills :)

Moenia wrote on 2017-09-08 14:30:32

Many of the lizards have Exposed Wounds and Screech is just as good as Primal Cry :)

Nail wrote on 2017-09-08 01:24:00

Subbed in a Lashtail Hatchling (B/B) X-2-2 for Footlasher

purpleblob wrote on 2017-09-06 12:52:39

I had a Zandalari Toenibbler that was S/S and you really just need to get the Primal Cry in for the speed debuff. Keep the debuff active until you can get in the Black Claw + Hunting Party combo.
