Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Humanoid Team:
Sporeling Sprout (S/B) - x, x, 1. Any breed will work.
Terky (H/B) - x, 1, 2
Any Humanoid with a high damage 1 turn ability

Sporeling Sprout:
1 - Spore Shrooms, Sporeling Sprout dies from Cannon

Terky:
1 - Acid Touch
2+ - Stampede. Terky and Minixis should die together in the same round. If it's not true (I don't see this but just in case) use low damage ability from Any Humanoid to kill Minixis for the first time.

Any Humanoid:
1 - High damage 1 turn ability

As a high damage 1 turn ability I have used Greench's Gift from Rotten Little Helper.

Nice!

Mashumaro wrote on 2018-07-02 00:09:27

I found a better strategy for this fight: Use Corefire Imp's Wild Magic like the guide says, but instead of using Terky and the Sporeling Sprout interchangeably, use the Rotten Little Helper. His Blizzard > Ice Tomb > Ice Lance makes quick work of Minixis.

Funnelweb wrote on 2017-09-04 08:36:41

Not having many of the pets mentioned in other posts, I used Anubisath Idol (1,1,1), plus 2 x Kun-lai Runts (both 2,2,2).
Start with Idol - Deflection. This dodges Minixis' big killer hit in round 1.
Switch to KLR, Frost Shock, then Deep Freeze, then spam Takedown until 1st KLR is dead.
Switch in Idol, Deflection.
Switch to 2nd KLR - exactly the same moves as before.
Finally back to Idol, Deflection, then spam Crush until Minixis is dead.
(Make sure to time Idol's Deflection to avoid Minixis' big killer hit each time.)

Registered on this site just so I can upvote your comment! Thanks so much for this simple strat. I didn't have Sporeling pet nor most of pets shown in the comments, so this worked great!

I used same setup and it works very well. I just altered a bit the strategy. When first Kun-Lai Runt had ~300-400 HP I used Frost shock instead of Take Down. It does a bit damage and put the debuff for 2 rounds. The pet dies on next attack and when you switch for 2nd Kun-Lai Runt you can use Deep Freeze right away.

Used Gregarious Grell (2,2,1), Sporeling Sprout (2,1,1) and Harbringer of Flame (2,2,2):
- 1) Phase Shift
- 2) Burn till Grell dies
- 3) Bring in Sporeling
- 4) Spore Shrooms
- 5) Creeping Fungus
- 6) Charge till Sporeling dies
- 7) Immolate
- 8) Conflagate
- 9) Burn till you've won

Flayer Youngling (Deflection & Rampage) and Sister of Temptation (Curse of Doom, Lovestruck & Shadow Shock) worked well with Terky, also.

Rhorle wrote on 2017-09-03 13:19:06

I didn't have Terky so I used squirky instead. My order was:

Squirky - bubble, stampede
Corefire imp- Flamethrower, burn
Sporeling sprout- Charge

I repeated this a few times with no issue and a level 23 squirky. Minixis revives and kills the imp leaving an easy mop up with the sprout.

Zaiaku wrote on 2017-09-10 14:42:58

Isolei wrote on 2017-09-05 17:56:34

I didn't have Sporeling Sprout, nor Terky, so had to find a new strategy. Used Harpy Youngling (1,2,2), Grumpling (2,2,2), and Kun-Lai Runt (1,2,2).
Use Harpy Youngling with Lift-Off at start, then switch to Grumpling. About the time Grumpling dies, Antaen Cannon will come off cooldown, so switch back to Harpy Youngling and use Lift-Off. Switch to Kun-Lai Runt, and when he dies, use Lift-Off, and Counterstrike and Minixis should be dead.

Padore wrote on 2017-09-07 18:59:46
