This works flawlessly for me every time. I know some people have snail issues I use a B/B Silkbead and I don't ever remember this failing and I've been using it a very long time. Thanks for the Strategy! (edited)

H/S silkbead snail doesnt live very long. i wiped twice in a row today. second attempt wasn't even close. using the script, Explode went off when Farnak was above 618 HP. switched to H/P shimershale and it worked.

It's all up to RNGesus. If Sludgy gets a crit and you can't apply acidic goo and get at least one ooze touch, abandon and move on. It can be done though.

Meh. This one works fine. I used it from Mists until fairly recently.

If you actually have evidence of somthing wrong, present it. Let's see some logs.

Having said that, Breed is a factor in the success rate. B/B and H/S breeds will be weaker here. Personally I'd recommend a H/P Shimmerscale or Mudshell Conch.

This strat has continued to work ok for me. Even with H/S Silkbead Snail. That said, it did fail first try this morning when Sludgy turn 1 crit w/ expunge, killing my snail. But I expect many strats will fail when enemy gets a crit on a high damage ability...

I've found it a lot more reliable if you use Absorb rather than Ooze Touch. Yes, it does do less damage, but it heals your snail for all the damage done.

Against his spirit, Dive / Acid Goo, Absorb till he dies. Your snail should still be well above 50%. Against Sludgy, Acid Goo once, Absorb twice, the Acid Goo till you die. That'll leave the buff on the enemy, making it much easier for the Zeppelin to clean up.

There are definite breed issues with this fight. An H/S Silkbead Snail, for example, is TERRIBLE. My win rate with that type and breed is less than 50% (often the Fail Safe goes off on Zeppelin due to the ooze's DoTs which makes the rat screw up your explosion). All this happens because the Snail takes too long to kill the Spirit and usually gets 1 attack on the ooze, plus its health pool is lower than a lot of other snails.

Here is a new TD script I wrote for the fight using a Rabbit and MPD since I keep seeing people say they have unfavorable results with the other script. Hopefully this is a bit easier to read and a bit more foolproof not relying on very specific rounds i.e. use(ability) [round = #] with the exception of the first two burrows since there is no enemy buffs to base when to use an ability off of. If anyone has any suggestions or corrections feel free to let me know. This has only been tested a handful of times.
